• Higher than average industry labor rate - Learn a niche within the automotive repair industry and earn more income. Our labor rate is between $165 and $225 depending on the type of vehicle you are working on. 
• Base pay + Commission - You can control how much you earn. Base pay begins at $21.25 per hour. Commission depends on experience and certifications. Commission between 5% and up to 15% per labor hour.
• Flexible schedule - 4 ten hour days available. 3 days off per week. 
• Tool allowance - Paid out yearly. Any unused amount is paid out as a bonus at year end.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Certification(s) from the state required.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and technology.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license.

About Red’s Automotive Repair Shop

Red’s Auto is located in Lake Orion and has been around for nearly 30 years. The shop is under new ownership and is expanding into multiple locations. Red’s Auto services consumer cars, trucks, and fleet vehicles. Most recently the shop has been approved to service Amazon fleet vehicles and we are working towards Rivian Electric Vehicle certification. We’ve also begun to service Advanced Driver Awareness Systems (ADAS) and can work on most makes and models. At Red’s we use up to date software (TekMetric), advanced scan tools (Snap On) and are in the process of revamping and remodeling the shop.
